As part of my “big plan” I’ll have to get more physical exercise. Being able to track how much I’ve done will involve using a pedometer and possibly Nike+.

I picked up a cheap Reebook pedometer in Argos and now I need to read the instructions!

When I was in the US last year I got some Nike runners and the Nike+ tracking device, though I haven’t actually used them yet.

The plan is to put a few podcasts and some good music on my iPhone, plugin in the headphones and start walking. At least that is the plan!

Living in Ireland, however, means that the weather is nasty a lot of the time, so walking can be quite unpleasant – who enjoys a walk when you’re cold and wet?

Man you do register every domain you can 🙂

I am using endomondo to track efforts and sports activities, this is well done, has a mobile app with gps use and uploads to their website dashboard, fairly cool.

This is also available on pretty much any device. Let me know if you do register on it and i’ll add you.

I’ll have a look for the iPhone app.
Is this a free or paid service?

Well done, I’m quite excited for you because this will change your life! Diet is 80% of it so if you can get active 20% of the time you’re on the right track. Looking forward to the next entry already!

Cool – I signed up for it last night, but haven’t setup my profile properly yet.
I guess they make their money by selling upgrades or something?

Not sure how they actually make money tbh. Android app is not free but I got it during the 10 cents a day apps from Google 🙂

The iPhone App was free .. .. Odd that they’d charge on one platform, but not the other ..
